COVID-19 and the developing global safety concerns have created an unprecedented level of uncertainty. As a healthcare provider, we encourage everyone to avoid taking this lightly by following the best practice of social distancing to flatten the curve and increase the odds of there being adequate resources to handle community cases.
Our focus over the last several weeks has been to ensure the health and well-being of our patients, staff, and alumni. We've taken numerous steps to protect everyone when we were still able to meet in person, including taking temperatures, sitting apart with recommended wide distances, washing hands and sanitizing everything in our building.
Now with additional precautions recommended by the CDC, we are offering online courses through virtual meetings. We will continue to monitor the national, regional, and community circumstances to minimize risk to our patients, staff and alumni.
All that said, life doesn’t come to a complete stop for us or anyone in crisis with a substance use disorder.
Our admissions staff remains on call to support individuals and families who may need guidance or are seeking treatment. We do not want anyone to feel as if they are alone or without options during this time.
