Care Addiction Center believes in having a continuum of care to allow patients to receive as much support as needed in their recovery. Aftercare is program we provide for individuals who have completed an Intensive Outpatient Program, Residential Program, or just need a support group they felt comfortable with. Aftercare Programs are ongoing, follow up services for individuals who have completed a chemical dependency program and have 30 days or more of sobriety. Patients remain connected and accountable in a lower, less intensive level of care while continuing to learn skills and discuss how to remain sober.
Care Addiction Center understands that what individuals deal with after completing an Intensive Outpatient Program/Outpatient Program is different in the first 6 months or few years than what individuals deal with 3 to 4 years after completing a substance abuse treatment program.
This is where the Alumni Program steps in. Alumni Program is an ongoing, voluntary group for individuals who have completed a chemical dependency rehab program and have already participated in 6 months of an Aftercare Program.
Aftercare and Alumni groups with Care Addiction Center are exciting and welcoming groups involved in the community through picnics, golf outings, and sporting events in the area. Led by recovering individuals with more than 25 years’ sobriety, Aftercare and Alumni groups are didactic format which promotes healthy discussions while continuing to support your recovery.
Aftercare Program
All Care Addiction Center patients who have completed Intensive Outpatient (IOP) or Outpatient (OP) programs step down to Aftercare. Patents will see familiar faces that they met in IOP/OP and it makes a nice transition for a lot of patients. Here group members often challenge each other - for example: Are you making time for kids? Can you step up to 2 meetings a week? Are you making time for self care? You exercise 1 per week, can you make it 2?
